Online on Doctolib 24 hours a day, or by phone on 01 85 10 57 00 from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm.
Do you see eye emergencies?
Yes, on the same day during opening hours: painful red eye, sudden loss of vision, foreign body, injury, flashes of light or a dark curtain. Please call the practice before coming. Emergencies are also seen between 1pm and 2pm, without interruption.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No, you can see an ophthalmologist directly, without going through your GP (médecin traitant), with normal reimbursement by the French national health insurance (Assurance Maladie).
Which tests do you carry out on site?
OCT, OCT angiography, visual field, ultra-widefield retinal photography, biometry and corneal topography, eye ultrasound, lasers (SLT, YAG, retina) and intravitreal injections: everything is done at the practice, with no need to go to another facility.
Do you perform cataract surgery and refractive surgery?
Yes. Drs Chetrit and Srour are surgeons for cataract and laser refractive surgery. The pre-operative assessment and follow-up are carried out at the practice; the operation takes place in a clinic, as day surgery.
What are your fees, and are you covered by the national health insurance scheme?
The practice is conventionné sector 2 (doctors who may charge above the standard national tariff) with the OPTAM option (controlled fee supplements, known as dépassements d'honoraires). An ophthalmology consultation costs €65; with OCT €100; visual field €70. The carte Vitale (French health insurance card) is accepted and tiers payant (direct billing, so you do not pay upfront) applies to the Social Security (Sécurité sociale) share.
