A surgeon trained in Paris's leading departments
Formerly a resident with the Hôpitaux de Paris (CHNO des Quinze-Vingts, Fondation Rothschild, CHI de Créteil), Dr Chetrit first worked as an Assistant Specialist of the Hospitals at the CHU de la Pitié-Salpêtrière, in the ophthalmology department of Prof. Bahram Bodaghi.
He then became head of the ophthalmology department at the Centre Hospitalier de Longjumeau (Essonne), before completing his training with an inter-university diploma (DIU) in refractive surgery and phacoemulsification (Université Paris-Descartes). He is now an attending physician at the Hôpital Universitaire de la Pitié-Salpêtrière.
